About

I wake up every morning with a simple goal: to learn something new and to make technology "technically easier" for my neighbors.

While my passion for technology started with video games and resurrecting old computers, my true calling was found in the community. Today, I am proud to serve as a Digital Navigator and a technology educator throughout Linn County. Whether I’m teaching a formal continuing education course at Kirkwood Community College or leading a hands-on workshop at the Hiawatha Public Library, my mission is to replace tech-frustration with tech-confidence.

Community-Rooted Expertise

I don’t just work here; I’m deeply invested in our community’s growth. In addition to running Technically Easier, I serve on the Hiawatha City Council and have spent years advocating for local literacy through the Friends of the Library groups. I believe that a connected community is a stronger community.

Patient Approach to Learning

With an Associate’s Degree from Kirkwood and over a decade of experience in the Telecom/IT industry, I have the technical "know-how." However, my time volunteering at the REACT Center and interning with senior groups taught me the most important skill of all: patience. I specialize in working with the 55+ community because I understand that technology should serve you—not the other way around. From helping residents at Meth-Wick and the Bridge Senior Center to providing personalized, one-on-one troubleshooting in the comfort of your own home, I focus on simple, affordable solutions that stick. For those further away or who prefer to stay digital, I also provide comprehensive remote tech support to help you solve problems wherever you are.

Why I Do What I Do

I am a lifelong learner and a non-fiction book lover who believes knowledge is meant to be shared. Whether you are looking to "cut the cord" on cable, master your new smartphone, or simply stay safe from online scams, I am here to guide you every step of the way.

Let’s make technology work for you.

Dont go mad wasting time and money call now

Man wasting money dumping it out of a barral

Fat Man with Money bag for his head.

At Technically Easier, I provide tech support and education to individuals and small businesses. I've been a tech professional since 2009, and have developed a unique approach to helping my customers. Instead of focusing on simply fixing problems, I focus on teaching my customers how to avoid them in the future. My goal is to empower people to become more tech-savvy, and to make their day-to-day lives easier. I believe that technology should enhance our lives, not complicate them, and I'm passionate about making this a reality.
