About
I wake up every morning hoping to learn something new each day. I want to be a life-long learner. I am an avid reader and book lover, especially non-fiction. I have been active in the Friends groups in area libraries and took the lead to bring Little Free Libraries to two metro towns. But I also want to share my knowledge with others.

I have an Associate's Degree in Marketing Management with an Entrepreneurship Certificate from Kirkwood but I have always had a passion for technology since I was young. From video games to resurrecting old computers, I have tried to learn as much as I possibly could. I volunteered at the REACT Center (Rockwell Educational Access to Computer Technology) that rebuilt and tested used computers to be donated to Iowa nonprofits and schools. For several years, I probed the minds of many of the volunteer engineers there. During a college internship, I taught computer skills classes and held open help sessions for senior citizens and flood victims, which initially inspired me to start offering my services to family members and neighbors.

These life experiences helped me get into the Telecom/IT industry at 19 years of age. I have worked about 10 years in the telecommunications industry since then. I look forward to helping you.

At Technically Easier, I provide tech support and education to individuals and small businesses. I've been a tech professional since 2009, and have developed a unique approach to helping my customers. Instead of focusing on simply fixing problems, I focus on teaching my customers how to avoid them in the future. My goal is to empower people to become more tech-savvy, and to make their day-to-day lives easier. I believe that technology should enhance our lives, not complicate them, and I'm passionate about making this a reality.
